
The month of December has been one of steady pacing, thus preparing your children for the January rush to midterms. PSAT scores have just been released. In October, we tested all 9-11th graders. For our part, teachers will be diligently working to identify general weaknesses for all 9th, 10th and 11th graders. Those areas will become our focus, but not to the extent that we lose sight of the whole test. We will also be looking at individual student weaknesses and developing plans to provide them with intervention services specifically designed for their needs. Since colleges and universities still primarily focus on student grades, course rigor, and SAT results, this is where much of our efforts will remain focused.
